Hoary Redpolls at Keene, New Hampshire - 12/30/2003

Karl and Bert Filemyr (driver) left Rockledge, PA at 6:00 am on Tuesday 12/30, and arrived at Keene, NH at about
11:50 am. Walked the bike path in two directions for about 1/2 hour with only Blue Jays, Starlings, and Cardinals.
Re-did the original walk through the birches lining the path and there they were feeding at the top of one of ther birches
About 20 Common and 2-3 Hoary Redpolls. Checked out Surrey Dam area and got Bald Eagle, Black-capped Chickadee,
and Red-breasted Nuthatches. Left about 3:30 pm, Rockledge at ~9:15 pm and Karl in Cape May at 11:30 pm.

A very fine sucessful chase!
